Casper format
Casper is an online, open-response situational judgment test run by Acuity Insights. The current format has 11 scenarios (4 video-response and 7 typed-response) with 2 questions each and takes about 65 to 85 minutes, including optional breaks. Typed-response scenarios allow 3.5 minutes to answer both questions.

An honours bachelor’s degree or equivalent; alternatively, qualifying students completing three years of a four-year honours degree at a Canadian university, or qualifying Quebec CEGEP graduates with two years of university study, may apply.

- Accelerated stream: For eligible holders of a CAOT-recognized Canadian occupational-therapy bachelor’s degree; Casper is not required.

For honours-degree holders, ORPAS calculates the average from the 10 most recent full undergraduate courses, including available fall-term final grades. Qualifying third-year and CEGEP-pathway applicants are assessed on the specified cumulative average.

Admissions tests
- uOttawa OLBI Rehabilitation Sciences Admissions Test (required for some applicants): Take and pass the English test if undergraduate instruction was in French, the French test if it was in English, or both if it was in neither language. An exemption may be requested after degrees in both languages; other standardized tests do not replace this requirement. Test deadlines are not yet published.
