Laval uses the college performance rating (CRC) or university performance rating (CRU), not a conventional GPA; an eligible regional indicator adds 1 point to CRC or CRU. Eligible completed university degrees add 0.5 for a bachelor’s/first-cycle doctorate, 0.5 for a master’s and 1.0 for a research doctorate, cumulatively across levels.
